       The Committee on Health Regulation (Jones) recommended the
       following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment 
    2         
    3         Delete lines 16 - 22
    4  and insert:
    5  organized not for profit and authorized by law to provide:
    6         (a) Hospital services in accordance with chapter 395;
    7         (b) Nursing home care services in accordance with chapter
    8  400;
    9         (c) Life care services in accordance with chapter 651;
   10         (d) Services for the developmentally disabled under chapter
   11  393;
   12         (e) Services for the mentally ill under chapter 394; or
   13         (f) Independent living, assisted living, dementia care, or
   14  hospice services for the elderly hospital or nursing home care
   15  services in accordance with chapter 395 or chapter 400 or life
   16  care services in accordance with chapter 651, and also includes
   17  facilities licensed under chapters 393 and 394.
