    1                        A bill to be entitled                      
    2         An act relating to community college student fees;
    3         amending s. 1009.23, F.S.; authorizing the Board of
    4         Trustees of Santa Fe College to establish a
    5         transportation fee; providing an effective date.

    7  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:
    8  
    9         Section 1. Present paragraph (b) of subsection (12) of
   10  section 1009.23, Florida Statutes, is redesignated as paragraph
   11  (c), and a new paragraph (b) is added to that subsection, to
   12  read:
   13         1009.23 Community college student fees.—
   14         (12)
   15         (b) In addition to the fees authorized in this section, the
   16  Board of Trustees of Santa Fe College may establish a
   17  transportation fee.
   18         Section 2. This act shall take effect July 1, 2009.
