       Senator Lawson moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Between lines 476 and 477
    4  insert:
    5         Section 16. Paragraph (sss) is added to subsection (4) of
    6  section 320.08056, Florida Statutes, to read:
    7         320.08056 Specialty license plates.—
    8         (4) The following license plate annual use fees shall be
    9  collected for the appropriate specialty license plates:
   10         (vvv) Can a Brotha Get A Break license plate, $25.
   11         Section 17. Subsections (74) are added to section
   12  320.08058, Florida Statutes, to read:
   13         (74) CAN A BROTHA GET A BREAK LICENSE PLATE.—
   14         (a) The department shall develop a Can A Brotha Get A Break
   15  license plate as provided in this section. The plate must
   16  prominantly display an image of State Senator Alfred "Al"
   17  Lawson, Jr. The phrase, "Can A Brotha Get a Break?" shall appear
   18  in bold letters on the bottom of the plate.
   19         (b) The annual use fees shall be distributed to the State
   20  Employees Relief Fund for the purpose of offsetting salary and
   21  benefit cuts by the Legislature and providing grief counseling.

   24         And the title is amended as follows:
   25         Delete line 34
   26  and insert:
   27  amending ss. 320.08056 and 320.0858, F.S.; creating the Can a
   28  Brotha Get a Break license plate; establishing an annual use fee
   29  for the plate; providing for the distribution of such fees for
   30  the sale of the plates; providing an effective date.
