       Senator Dean moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Delete lines 476 - 477
    4  and insert:
    5         Section 16. Paragraph (g) is added to subsection (6) of
    6  section 322.08, Florida Statutes, to read:
    7         322.08 Application for license.—
    8         (6) The application form for a driver’s license or
    9  duplicate thereof shall include language permitting the
   10  following:
   11         (g) Notwithstanding s. 322.081, a voluntary contribution of
   12  $1 per applicant to Blind Babies, which shall be distributed to
   13  the Florida Association of Agencies Serving the Blind, a
   14  nonprofit organization.

   16         A statement providing an explanation of the purpose of the
   17  trust funds shall also be included. For the purpose of applying
   18  the service charge provided in s. 215.20, contributions received
   19  under paragraphs (b), (c), (d), (e), and (f), and (g) and under
   20  s. 322.18(9)(a) are not income of a revenue nature.
   21         Section 17. Paragraph (c) is added to subsection (9) of
   22  section 322.18, Florida Statutes, to read:
   23         322.18 Original applications, licenses, and renewals;
   24  expiration of licenses; delinquent licenses.—

   26         (c) The application form for a renewal issuance or renewal
   27  extension shall include language permitting a voluntary
   28  contribution of $1 per applicant to Blind Babies, which shall be
   29  distributed to the Florida Association of Agencies Serving the
   30  Blind, a nonprofit organization.

   35         Delete line 34
   36  and insert:
   37         amending s. 322.08, F.S.; providing for a voluntary
   38         contribution to be made by applicants for a driver’s
   39         license to the Florida Association of Agencies Serving
   40         the Blind: providing an effective date.
