    1                        A bill to be entitled                      
    2         An act relating to road designations; designating the
    3         Stan Mayfield Memorial Highway in Indian River and
    4         Osceola Counties; directing the Department of
    5         Transportation to erect suitable markers; providing an
    6         effective date.

    8  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:
    9         
   10         Section 1. Stan Mayfield Memorial Highway designated;
   11  Department of Transportation to erect suitable markers.—
   12         (1) The portion of State Road 60 beginning directly west of
   13  the Interstate 95 interchange in Indian River County and ending
   14  at the Florida Turnpike interchange in Osceola County is
   15  designated as the “Stan Mayfield Memorial Highway.”
   16         (2) The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
   17  suitable markers designating the Stan Mayfield Memorial Highway
   18  as described in subsection (1).
   19         Section 2. This act shall take effect July 1, 2009.
