Section 768.1258, Florida Statutes, is created 6 to read: 7 768.1258 Drywall Liability Act.— 8 Property owners, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, or 9 other installers of drywall will not be liable for defective 10 drywall causing personal injury or damage to property unless the 11 property owners, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, or 12 other installers knew or should have known that the drywall was 13 defective. The provisions of this section shall apply to any 14 complaint filed after January 1, 2009.
