    1                        A bill to be entitled                      
    2         An act relating to a review under the Open Government
    3         Sunset Review Act; repealing s. 288.9551(8), F.S.,
    4         relating to an exemption from the public-records law
    5         provided for information held by the Scripps Florida
    6         Funding Corporation, the Office of Tourism, Trade, and
    7         Economic Development, or the Scripps Research
    8         Institute or its grantee, and an exemption from the
    9         public-meetings law provided for meetings and records
   10         of meetings at which such information is discussed;
   11         saving the exemption from repeal under the Open
   12         Government Sunset Review Act; deleting provisions
   13         providing for repeal of the exemption; providing an
   14         effective date.

   16  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:
   17         
   18         Section 1. Subsection (8) of section 288.9551, Florida
   19  Statutes, is repealed.
   20         Section 2. This act shall take effect October 1, 2009.
