Following Specific Appropriation 2573, INSERT:
Funds provided in Specific Appropriation 2573 are contingent upon the
renegotiation of the Funding and Program Agreement between the Office of
Tourism, Trade and Economic Development and the Florida Sports
Foundation (OTTED Contract Number OT-09-002). The agreement shall
specify that the expenditure of funds shall promote the economic
development of the state and that funds shall be allocated to events
that will maximize revenues to the state. The agreement must direct the
foundation to promote leisure and recreational sports that contribute to
economic growth of the state. Attachment B - Performance Measures shall
be expanded to report outcomes for each event sponsored. The
performance measures negotiated in the agreement must include outcomes
that indicate economic value, including a measurable return on
investment for each event. The terms of the agreement shall address the

conditions of sponsorships, including disposition of any event tickets
or other promotional items associated with a sponsorship. The term of
the contract shall cover the period from July 1, 2009, to June 30, 2010.
Upon execution of the agreement, the Office of Tourism, Trade, and
Economic Development is authorized to submit a budget amendment in
accordance with chapter 216, Florida Statutes, to request release of
funds.
