       Senator Deutch moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment to Amendment (413008) (with title
    2  amendment)

    4         Between lines 263 and 264
    5  insert:
    6         Section 9. Each school district shall honor our veterans
    7  during the month of November which shall be known as Honor Our
    8  Veterans Month in our schools. During Honor Our Veterans Month,
    9  the district shall provide programs that instruct students on
   10  the role of veterans in the history of our state and country and
   11  shall honor the contributions made by veterans to our state and
   12  country.

   15         And the title is amended as follows:
   16         Delete line 307
   17  and insert:
   18         requiring school districts to observe Honor Our
   19         Veterans Month; requiring the districts to provide
   20         certain programs during that month; providing an
   21         effective date.
