| 4 | Between lines 2336 and 2337, insert: |
| 5 | Section 56. Notwithstanding any provision to the contrary, |
| 6 | all persons subject to the provisions of ss. 11.045 and |
| 7 | 112.3215, Florida Statutes, are prohibited from contributing |
| 8 | directly or indirectly to any candidates for offices covered by |
| 9 | such provisions. This section also prohibits such persons from |
| 10 | contributing to any leadership fund, committee of continuous |
| 11 | existence, electioneering communications organization, |
| 12 | organization that is exempt from taxation under 26 U.S.C. s. 527 |
| 13 | or s. 501(c)(4), or organization with a similar purpose that |
| 14 | contributes directly or indirectly to elections races for |
| 15 | offices covered by the provisions of ss. 11.045 and 112.3215, |
| 16 | Florida Statutes. This section also prohibits such persons from |
| 17 | directly or indirectly using funds for electioneering |
| 18 | communications as defined in s. 106.011, Florida Statutes. |
