| 7 | 101.5606 Requirements for approval of systems.--No |
| 8 | electronic or electromechanical voting system shall be approved |
| 9 | by the Department of State unless it is so constructed that: |
| 10 | (16) If it is a voting system which registers votes |
| 11 | electronically, it will notify the voter if he or she did not |
| 12 | cast a vote for an office on the ballot, has overvoted for an |
| 13 | office on the ballot, or has undervoted for an office on the |
| 14 | ballot, and it will permit each voter to change or register his |
| 15 | or her vote for any such office up to the time that the voter |
| 16 | takes the final step to register his or her vote and to have the |
| 17 | vote computed. |
