       Senator Peaden moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Substitute for Amendment (646884) (with title
    2  amendment)

    4         Between lines 16 and 17
    5  insert:
    6         Section 1. Section 458.3312, Florida Statutes, is amended
    7  to read:
    8         458.3312 Specialties.—A physician licensed under this
    9  chapter may not hold himself or herself out as a board-certified
   10  specialist unless the physician has received formal recognition
   11  as a specialist from a specialty board of the American Board of
   12  Medical Specialties or other recognizing agency that has been
   13  approved by the board. However, a physician may indicate the
   14  services offered and may state that his or her practice is
   15  limited to one or more types of services when this accurately
   16  reflects the scope of practice of the physician. Each
   17  recognizing agency’s ability to certify a physician as a board
   18  certified specialist in dermatology or dermatologic services
   19  must be triennially reviewed and reauthorized by the Board of
   20  Medicine.

   23         And the title is amended as follows:
   24         Delete line 2
   25  and insert:
   26  An act relating to physician practice; amending s. 458.3312,
   27  F.S.; requiring the Board of Medicine to review and authorize a
   28  recognizing agency’s ability to certify a physician as a board
   29  certified specialist in dermatology;
