       The Committee on General Government Appropriations (Dean)
       recommended the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)

    3         Between lines 15 and 16
    4  insert:
    5         Section 1. Paragraph (k) is added to subsection (2) of
    6  section 627.062, Florida Statutes, to read:
    7         627.062 Rate standards.—
    8         (2) As to all such classes of insurance:
    9         (k) With respect to personal lines residential property
   10  insurance rate filings made on or after January 1, 2013, the
   11  rate filing must account for sinkhole mitigation measures
   12  undertaken by a municipal or county ordinance to reduce sinkhole
   13  losses.
   14  
   15  The provisions of this subsection shall not apply to workers’
   16  compensation and employer’s liability insurance and to motor
   17  vehicle insurance.
