4 | III, Section 3(d) of the State Constitution. |

6 | WHEREAS, the 60 days of the 2009 Regular Session of the |
7 | Florida Legislature will expire on May 1, 2009, and the |
8 | necessary tasks of the session have not been completed, NOW, |
9 | THEREFORE, |

11 | Be It Resolved by the House of Representatives of the State of |
12 | Florida, the Senate Concurring: |
13 |
|
14 | That the 2009 Regular Session of the Florida Legislature is |
15 | extended until 6:00 p.m., Friday, May 8, 2009, under the |
16 | authority of Article III, Section 3(d) of the State |
17 | Constitution. |
18 | BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the regular session so extended |
19 | shall consider only the following matters: |
20 | (1) Senate Bill 2600, the general appropriations bill, or |
21 | any Senate and House Conference Committee Report thereon. |
22 | (2) Senate Bill 2602, the appropriations implementing |
23 | bill, or any Senate and House Conference Committee Report |
24 | thereon. |
25 | (3) Any bill, or any Senate and House Conference Committee |
26 | Report thereon, under consideration before Saturday, May 2, |
27 | 2009, by a Conference Committee appointed by each house. |
28 | BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that all other measures in both |
29 | houses are indefinitely postponed and withdrawn from |
30 | consideration of the respective house as of 12:00 a.m., |
31 | Saturday, May 2, 2009. |
32 | BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that upon recess or adjournment |
33 | Friday, May 1, 2009, either house may reconvene upon the call of |
34 | its presiding officer. |
