    1                        A bill to be entitled                      
    2         An act relating to legislative sunset review; amending s.
    3  11.905, F.S.; revising the schedule for reviewing state agencies
    4  and advisory committees; adding the Office of Tourism, Trade,
    5  and Economic Development and certain of its partners and offices
    6  to the list of agencies to be reviewed by July 1, 2010; revising
    7  the date on which the office must submit an agency report to the
    8  Legislature; providing an effective date.

   10  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:
   11  
   12         Section 1. Paragraph (e) is added to subsection (2) of
   13  section 11.905, Florida Statutes, to read:
   14         11.905 Schedule for reviewing state agencies and advisory
   15  committees. The following state agencies, including their
   16  advisory committees, or the following advisory committees of
   17  agencies shall be reviewed according to the following schedule:
   18         (2)Reviewed by July 1, 2010:
   19         (e)Office of Tourism, Trade, and Economic Development,
   20  including all of its contracted public-private partners and any
   21  offices created by law within the office. Notwithstanding any
   22  other provision of law, the Office of Tourism, Trade, and
   23  Economic Development shall provide the report required under s.
   24  11.906 by October 1, 2009.

   26         Upon completion of this cycle, each agency shall again be
   27  subject to sunset review 10 years after its initial review.
   28         Section 2.This act shall take effect July 1, 2009.
