       The Committee on Education Pre-K - 12 Appropriations (Wise)
       recommended the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2         
    3         Delete lines 503 - 506
    4  and insert:
    5         Section 14. Merit awards for instructional personnel and
    6  school-based administrators selected for the Merit Award Program
    7  in 2008-2009 shall be paid in the 2009-2010 fiscal year only to
    8  the extent that funds are available and specifically
    9  appropriated in the 2009-2010 fiscal year.

   14  and insert:
   15  conforming provisions; providing for awards for instructional
