    1                        A bill to be entitled                      
    2         An act relating to agency funds; amending s. 216.1815,
    3         F.S.; authorizing the Department of Children and
    4         Family Services to retain and reinvest federal
    5         performance incentive awards and recognize achievement
    6         through salary bonus payments under certain
    7         circumstances; providing an effective date.

    9  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:
   10  
   11         Section 1. Present subsection (6) of section 216.1815,
   12  Florida Statutes, is renumbered as subsection (7), and a new
   13  subsection (6) is added to that section, to read:
   14         216.1815 Agency incentive and savings program.—
   15         (6) Contingent upon approval by the Legislative Budget
   16  Commission under this section or upon appropriation, the
   17  Department of Children and Family Services may retain and
   18  reinvest federal performance incentive awards and recognize
   19  achievement through salary bonus payments.
   20         Section 2. This act shall take effect July 1, 2010.
