1	A bill to be entitled
2	An act relating to Brevard County; authorizing the
3	Division of Alcoholic Beverages and Tobacco of the
4	Department of Business and Professional Regulation to
5	issue an alcoholic beverage license to the East Coast
6	Zoological Society of Florida, Inc., for use within the
7	Brevard Zoo buildings and grounds; providing for payment
8	of the license fee; providing for sale of beverages for
9	consumption within the zoo buildings and grounds;
10	providing for transfer of the license; providing an
11	effective date.

13	Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

15	Section 1.  Notwithstanding any other provision of law, the
16	Division of Alcoholic Beverages and Tobacco of the Department of
17	Business and Professional Regulation is authorized, upon
18	application, to issue an alcoholic beverage license in
19	accordance with section 561.17, Florida Statutes, to the East
20	Coast Zoological Society of Florida, Inc., a corporation not for
21	profit (the "corporation") located in Brevard County, for use by
22	the corporation solely within the Brevard Zoo located at 8225
23	North Wickham Road in Melbourne. The corporation shall pay the
24	applicable license fee provided in section 565.02, Florida
25	Statutes.
26	Section 2.  Alcoholic beverages may be sold by the
27	corporation for consumption within the Brevard Zoo. The license
28	issued pursuant to this act shall not permit the sale of
29	alcoholic beverages in sealed containers for consumption outside
30	the Brevard Zoo.
31	Section 3.  The corporation may transfer the license from
32	time to time to qualified applicants who are either authorized
33	by or under contract with the corporation to provide food
34	services at the Brevard Zoo. Upon termination of a transferee's
35	authorization or contract, the license shall automatically
36	revert by operation of law to the corporation.
37	Section 4.  This act shall take effect upon becoming a law.
