    1                        A bill to be entitled                      
    2         An act relating to the Office of Program Policy
    3         Analysis and Government Accountability; requiring
    4         OPPAGA to conduct a study to evaluate the
    5         effectiveness and cost efficiency of having a full
    6         time Legislature versus a part-time Legislature;
    7         requiring that OPPAGA submit a report to the President
    8         of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of
    9         Representatives by a specified date; providing an
   10         effective date.

   12  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:
   13  
   14         Section 1. (1) The Office of Program Policy Analysis and
   15  Government Accountability shall conduct a study to evaluate the
   16  effectiveness and cost efficiency of having a full-time
   17  Legislature versus a part-time Legislature. The study shall
   18  include all projected variables and costs that are associated
   19  with operating a full-time and a part-time Legislature.
   20         (2) OPPAGA shall submit a report with its findings and
   21  recommendations to the President of the Senate and the Speaker
   22  of the House of Representatives by January 1, 2011.
   23         Section 2. This act shall take effect July 1, 2010.
