    1                        A bill to be entitled                      
    2         An act relating to road designations; designating the
    3         Trooper Claude Baker Memorial Highway in Sarasota
    4         County; directing the Department of Transportation to
    5         erect markers; providing an effective date.

    7  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:
    8  
    9         Section 1. Trooper Claude Baker Memorial Highway
   10  designated; Department of Transportation to erect suitable
   11  markers.—
   12         (1) That portion of State Road 45 in Sarasota County from
   13  Constitution Boulevard in Sarasota to River Road in Venice is
   14  designated as “Trooper Claude Baker Memorial Highway.”
   15         (2) The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
   16  suitable markers designating Trooper Claude Baker Memorial
   17  Highway as described in subsection (1).
   18         Section 2. This act shall take effect July 1, 2010.
