    1                        A bill to be entitled                      
    2         An act relating to road designations; designating the
    3         James E. “Jim” King, Jr., Parkway and the Hans G.
    4         Tanzler, Jr., Interstate in Duval County; directing
    5         the Department of Transportation to erect suitable
    6         markers; providing an effective date.

    8  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:
    9  
   10         Section 1. James E. “Jim” King, Jr., Parkway designated;
   11  Department of Transportation to erect suitable markers.—
   12         (1) That portion of State Road 116 between State Road 9A
   13  east of Jacksonville and State Road 101/Mayport Road in Duval
   14  County is designated as the “James E. ‘Jim’ King, Jr., Parkway.”
   15         (2) The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
   16  suitable markers designating James E. “Jim” King, Jr., Parkway
   17  as described in subsection (1).
   18         Section 2. Hans G. Tanzler, Jr., Interstate designated;
   19  Department of Transportation to erect suitable markers.—
   20         (1) That portion of Interstate 295/SR 9A from Interstate
   21  10/SR 8 to Interstate 95/SR 9 in Duval County is designated as
   22  the “Hans G. Tanzler, Jr., Interstate.”
   23         (2) The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
   24  suitable markers designating the Hans G. Tanzler, Jr.,
   25  Interstate as described in subsection (1).
   26         Section 3. This act shall take effect July 1, 2010.
