    1                        A bill to be entitled                      
    2         An act relating to road designations; designating
    3         Doolittle Raiders Highway in Okaloosa and Walton
    4         Counties; designating Beach Highway in Walton County;
    5         directing the Department of Transportation to erect
    6         markers; providing an effective date.

    8  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:
    9  
   10         Section 1. Doolittle Raiders Highway designated; Department
   11  of Transportation to erect suitable markers.—
   12         (1) That portion of State Road 285 in Okaloosa and Walton
   13  Counties which is located north of College Boulevard in
   14  Niceville is designated as “Doolittle Raiders Highway.”
   15         (2) The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
   16  suitable markers designating Doolittle Raiders Highway as
   17  described in subsection (1).
   18         Section 2. Beach Highway designated; Department of
   19  Transportation to erect suitable markers.—
   20         (1) That portion of U.S. 331 from the Alabama state line to
   21  U.S. 98 in Walton County is designated as “The Beach Highway.”
   22         (2) The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
   23  suitable markers designating The Beach Highway as described in
   24  subsection (1).
   25         Section 3. This act shall take effect July 1, 2010.
