    1                        A bill to be entitled                      
    2         An act relating to public facility designations;
    3         designating the James E. “Jim” King, Jr., Dam in
    4         Putnam County; directing the Department of
    5         Environmental Protection to erect markers; providing
    6         an effective date.

    8  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:
    9  
   10         Section 1. Senator James E. “Jim” King, Jr., Dam
   11  designated; Department of Environmental Protection to erect
   12  suitable markers.—
   13         (1) The Rodman Dam in Putnam County is designated as the
   14  “Senator James E. ‘Jim’ King, Jr., Dam.”
   15         (2) The Department of Environmental Protection is directed
   16  to erect suitable markers designating the Senator James E. “Jim”
   17  King, Jr., Dam as described in subsection (1).
   18         Section 2. This act shall take effect July 1, 2010.
