    1                        A bill to be entitled                      
    2         An act relating to transportation funding; amending s.
    3         206.46, F.S.; increasing the percentage of state
    4         revenues deposited into the State Transportation Trust
    5         Fund to be committed by the Department of
    6         Transportation for public transportation projects;
    7         providing an effective date.

    9  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:
   10  
   11         Section 1. Subsection (3) of section 206.46, Florida
   12  Statutes, is amended to read:
   13         206.46 State Transportation Trust Fund.—
   14         (3) Each fiscal year, a minimum of 25 15 percent of all
   15  state revenues deposited into the State Transportation Trust
   16  Fund shall be committed annually by the department for public
   17  transportation projects in accordance with chapter 311, ss.
   18  332.003-332.007, chapter 341, and chapter 343.
   19         Section 2. This act shall take effect July 1, 2010.
