    1                        A bill to be entitled                      
    2         An act relating to Pasco County; authorizing a person
    3         developing residential or commercial property within
    4         the unincorporated area of Pasco County to connect
    5         water, wastewater, and stormwater pipes, valves, and
    6         fixtures to pipes installed and operated by the county
    7         under certain specified circumstances; providing that
    8         any connection to the water, wastewater, or stormwater
    9         systems of the county is subject to the utility
   10         ordinances of the county; providing an effective date.

   12  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:
   13  
   14         Section 1. Any person developing residential or commercial
   15  property within an unincorporated area of Pasco County for
   16  resale, rental, or lease may connect pipes, shutoffs, valves,
   17  fixtures, and apparatus of every kind and nature used in
   18  connection with or forming a part of an installation for potable
   19  water, wastewater, or stormwater, including service lines, to
   20  pipes that are installed and operated by the county if the
   21  proposed installation is located within 100 feet of the county’s
   22  pipes, as measured from the property to the nearest point of
   23  connection to pipes of the county. Any connection to the water,
   24  wastewater, or stormwater systems of the county is subject to
   25  the utility ordinances of the county.
   26         Section 2. This act shall take effect upon becoming a law.
