A bill to be entitled
2An act relating to road designations; designating Veterans
3Memorial Highway and Sergeant Ricky Lord Road in Gilchrist
4County; designating Anthony J. Perez Street and Orange
5Bowl Way in Miami-Dade County; directing the Department of
6Transportation to erect suitable markers; providing an
7effective date.

9Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

11     Section 1.  Veterans Memorial Highway designated;
12Department of Transportation to erect suitable markers.-
13     (1)  That portion of State Road 26 between the Levy County
14line and the Alachua County line in Gilchrist County is
15designated as "Veterans Memorial Highway."
16     (2)  The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
17suitable markers designating Veterans Memorial Highway as
18described in subsection (1).
19     Section 2.  Sergeant Ricky Lord Road designated; Department
20of Transportation to erect suitable markers.-
21     (1)  County Road 313 in Gilchrist County is designated as
22"Sergeant Ricky Lord Road."
23     (2)  The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
24suitable markers designating Sergeant Ricky Lord Road as
25described in subsection (1).
26     Section 3.  Anthony J. Perez Street designated; Department
27of Transportation to erect suitable markers.-
28     (1)  That portion of 40th Street/Bird Road between 102nd
29Avenue and 117th Avenue in Miami-Dade County is designated as
30"Anthony J. Perez Street."
31     (2)  The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
32suitable markers designating Anthony J. Perez Street as
33described in subsection (1).
34     Section 4.  Orange Bowl Way designated; Department of
35Transportation to erect suitable markers.-
36     (1)  That portion of N.W. 77th Court in the Town of Miami
37Lakes in Miami-Dade County is designated as "Orange Bowl Way."
38     (2)  The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
39suitable markers designating Orange Bowl Way as described in
40subsection (1).
41     Section 5.  This act shall take effect July 1, 2010.
