At the end of existing proviso language, following Specific
Appropriation 445A, INSERT:
The funds in Specific Appropriation 445A are provided to the Department
of Health to contract with the Florida Agricultural and Mechanical
University to continue a project, first funded in Fiscal Year 2008-2009,
to address some of the chronic health disparities found in rural and
under served communities. One hundred percent of the funds in this
appropriation shall be provided to the university, and the university
shall use one hundred percent of the funds received in this contract to
train health care professionals committed to serving in rural or under
served areas of the state and to provide direct services to residents.
