A bill to be entitled
2An act relating to growth management; specifying
3continuing validity and effect of certain exemptions, 2-
4year extensions, and local comprehensive plan amendments
5authorized or adopted and in effect prior to a certain
6judicial declaration of invalidity; providing an effective
7date.

9Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

11     Section 1.  Notwithstanding any final declaration by a
12court of this state that chapter 2009-96, Laws of Florida, or
13any portion of such law is invalid, the following actions, if
14taken prior to such final judicial declaration of invalidity,
15shall remain valid and continue in effect:
16     (1)  Any exemption is granted for any project for which a
17development approval has been given or filed pursuant to s.
18380.06, Florida Statutes, or for which a complete development
19application or rescission request has been approved or is
20pending and the application or rescission process is continuing
21in good faith within a development that is located within an
22area that qualifies for an exemption under s. 380.06, Florida
23Statutes, as amended by chapter 2009-96, Laws of Florida.
24     (2)  Any 2-year extension is authorized pursuant to section
2514 of chapter 2009-96, Laws of Florida.
26     (3)  Any amendment to a local comprehensive plan is adopted
27pursuant to s. 163.3184, Florida Statutes, as amended by chapter
282009-96, Laws of Florida, and is legally in effect to authorize
29and implement a transportation concurrency exception area
30pursuant to s. 163.3180, Florida Statutes, as amended by chapter
312009-96, Laws of Florida.
32     Section 2.  This act shall take effect upon becoming a law.
