    1                        A bill to be entitled                      
    2         An act relating to driving or boating under the
    3         influence; amending s. 901.15, F.S.; authorizing a law
    4         enforcement officer to arrest a person without a
    5         warrant when there is probable cause to believe the
    6         person has committed any of specified driving or
    7         boating under the influence violations; providing an
    8         effective date.

   10  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:
   11  
   12         Section 1. Paragraph (d) is added to subsection (9) of
   13  section 901.15, Florida Statutes, to read:
   14         901.15 When arrest by officer without warrant is lawful.—A
   15  law enforcement officer may arrest a person without a warrant
   16  when:
   17         (9) There is probable cause to believe that the person has
   18  committed:
   19         (d) A violation of s. 316.193 or s. 327.35.
   20         Section 2. This act shall take effect October 1, 2010.
