    1                        A bill to be entitled                      
    2         An act relating to motor vehicle registration forms;
    3         amending s. 320.02, F.S.; providing for a voluntary
    4         contribution to the Florida Association of Food Banks,
    5         Inc.; providing an effective date.

    7  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:
    8  
    9         Section 1. Paragraph (o) is added to subsection (15) of
   10  section 320.02, Florida Statutes, to read:
   11         320.02 Registration required; application for registration;
   12  forms.—
   13         (15) 
   14         (o) The application form for motor vehicle registration
   15  must include language permitting a voluntary contribution of $1
   16  to the Florida Association of Food Banks, Inc. The proceeds
   17  shall be distributed by the department each month to the Florida
   18  Association of Food Banks, Inc., to be used by that organization
   19  for the purpose of ending hunger in this state.

   21  For the purpose of applying the service charge provided in s.
   22  215.20, contributions received under this subsection are not
   23  income of a revenue nature.
   24         Section 2. This act shall take effect July 1, 2011.
