       The Committee on Governmental Oversight and Accountability
       (Latvala) recommended the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with directory and title amendments)

    3         Between lines 1365 and 1366
    4  insert:
    5         (p) Notwithstanding s. 26 of chapter 2010-223, Laws of
    6  Florida, the application form for motor vehicle registration and
    7  renewal registration must include a provision permitting a
    8  voluntary contribution of $1 or more per applicant, to be
    9  distributed to the Auto Club South Traffic Safety Foundation, a
   10  nonprofit organization. Funds received by the foundation shall
   11  be used to improve traffic safety culture in communities through
   12  effective outreach, education, and activities that will save
   13  lives, reduce injuries, and prevent crashes. The foundation must
   14  comply with s. 320.023.

   17  insert:
   18         (7) The application form for an original, renewal, or
   19  replacement driver’s license or identification card shall
   20  include language permitting the following:
   21         (o) Notwithstanding s. 26 of chapter 2010-223, Laws of
   22  Florida, a voluntary contribution of $1 or more per applicant to
   23  the Auto Club South Traffic Safety Foundation, a nonprofit
   24  organization. Funds received by the foundation shall be used to

   28  s. 322.081.

   33  under paragraphs (b)-(n) are not income of a revenue nature.
