    1                        A bill to be entitled                      
    2         An act relating to road and bridge designations;
    3         designating Deputy Hal P. Croft and Deputy Ronald
    4         Jackson Memorial Highway in Union County and
    5         designating Deputy Jack A. Romeis Road in Alachua
    6         County; directing the Department of Transportation to
    7         erect suitable markers; providing an effective date.

    9  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:
   10  
   11         Section 1. Deputy Hal P. Croft and Deputy Ronald Jackson
   12  Memorial Highway designated; Department of Transportation to
   13  erect suitable markers.—
   14         (1) That portion of State Road 100 in Union County from the
   15  Bradford County line to the Columbia County line is designated
   16  “Deputy Hal P. Croft and Deputy Ronald Jackson Memorial
   17  Highway.”
   18         (2) The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
   19  suitable markers designating Deputy Hal P. Croft and Deputy
   20  Ronald Jackson Memorial Highway as described in subsection (1).
   21         Section 2. Deputy Jack A. Romeis Road designated;
   22  Department of Transportation to erect suitable markers.—
   23         (1) That portion of State Road 26A in Gainesville, Alachua
   24  County, between West University Avenue and S.W. 25th Street, is
   25  designated “Deputy Jack A. Romeis Road.”
   26         (2) The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
   27  suitable markers designating Deputy Jack A. Romeis Road as
   28  described in subsection (1).
   29         Section 3. This act shall take effect July 1, 2011.
