House Comm: RCS . 03/17/2011 . . . . ————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————— ————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————— The Committee on Governmental Oversight and Accountability (Wise) recommended the following: 1 Senate Amendment (with title amendment) 2 3 Delete lines 131 - 135 4 and insert: 5 (a) In order to implement the work program approved by the 6 Legislature, and in accordance with the comprehensive 7 legislative oversight of the department under chapter 339, the 8 Department of Transportation may enter into contracts and 9 agreements, subject to the requirements of s. 334.30 and chapter 10 339, in lieu of the limitations specified in paragraphs (2)(b) 11 (e). 12 13 Between lines 204 and 205 14 insert: 15 (3) In lieu of the requirements of this section, and in 16 accordance with the comprehensive legislative oversight of the 17 department under chapter 339, the Department of Transportation 18 shall implement the work program approved by the Legislature by 19 entering into contracts and agreements, subject to the 20 requirements of s. 334.30 and chapter 339.
