       Senator Margolis moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment to Amendment (404618) (with title
    2  amendment)

    5         Delete lines 1907 - 1924
    6  and insert:
    7  early voting site. The supervisor shall provide to the division
    8  no later than the 30th day before an election the address of
    9  each early voting site and the hours that early voting will
   10  occur at each site.
   11         (c) All early voting sites in a county shall be open on the
   12  same days for the same amount of time and shall allow any person
   13  in line at the closing of an early voting site to vote.
   14         (d) Early voting shall begin on the 10th 15th day before an
   15  election that contains state or federal races and end on the 3rd
   16  2nd day before the an election, and. For purposes of a special
   17  election held pursuant to s. 100.101, early voting shall begin
   18  on the 8th day before an election and end on the 2nd day before
   19  an election. Early voting shall be provided for no less than 6 8
   20  hours and no more than 12 hours per day weekday and 8 hours in
   21  the aggregate each weekend at each site during the applicable
   22  period, except that counties having 1 million or more registered
   23  voters as of the book closing date for the election must provide
   24  early voting for 12 hours per day periods. The supervisor of
   25  elections may provide early voting for elections that are not
   26  held in conjunction with a state or federal election. However,
   27  the supervisor has the discretion to determine the hours of
   28  operation of early voting sites in those elections. Early voting
   29  sites shall open no sooner than 7 a.m. and close no later than 7
   30  p.m. on each applicable day.

   33         And the title is amended as follows:
   34         Delete lines 4168 - 4174
   35  and insert:
   36         F.S.; requiring the supervisor of elections to provide
   37         to the division the address and hours of operation of
   38         early voting sites; reducing the early voting period
   39         for elections with state or federal races; providing
   40         an exception with regard to hours of operation for
   41         certain counties for early voting; removing timetables
   42         with respect to early voting in special elections;
   43         removing restrictions with respect to daily hours of
   44         operation of early voting sites; authorizing a
   45         supervisor of elections to provide early voting for
   46         elections not held in conjunction with a state or
   47         federal election;
