House . . . . . ————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————— ————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————— Senator Latvala moved the following: 1 Senate Amendment to Amendment (302038) (with title 2 amendment) 3 4 Delete lines 2447 - 2458 5 and insert: 6 (6) VIOLATIONS.—Any person who violates the provisions of 7 this section shall be issued a written warning for the first 8 violation. Upon conviction for a second violation, a person 9 shall be cited for a pedestrian violation, punishable as 10 provided in chapter 318. Upon conviction for a third violation, 11 a person shall be cited for a pedestrian violation and the 12 person’s permit shall be revoked. 13 (7) ENFORCEMENT.—The Department of Highway Safety and Motor 14 Vehicles and other law enforcement agencies are authorized and 15 directed to enforce this section. 16 (8) EXPIRATION.—This section expires June 30, 2017. 17 18 ================= T I T L E A M E N D M E N T ================ 19 And the title is amended as follows: 20 Delete lines 3844 - 3845 21 and insert: 22 exceptions; providing that a person shall be issued a 23 warning for a first violation, be cited for a 24 pedestrian violation upon a conviction for a second 25 violation, and be cited for a pedestrian violation and 26 have the person’s permit revoked upon a conviction for 27 a third violation;
