House Comm: RCS . 03/30/2011 . . . . ————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————— ————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————— The Committee on Education Pre-K - 12 (Benacquisto) recommended the following: 1 Senate Amendment (with directory amendment) 2 3 Delete lines 26 - 51 4 and insert: 5 (dd) Names and addresses of the 100 taxpayers having the 6 greatest tax liabilities after all tax credits are applied 7 during the most recent calendar year for which information is 8 available for each tax identified in subparagraphs 1., 2., and 9 4., and the names and addresses of the 100 taxpayers having the 10 greatest tax liability after all tax credits are applied for the 11 most recent taxable years for which information is available for 12 the tax identified in subparagraph 3., to an eligible nonprofit 13 scholarship-funding organization under s. 1002.395 for which the 14 department approved at least $10 million of tax credit 15 allocations in the prior year. An eligible nonprofit 16 scholarship-funding organization may request the information for 17 any of the taxes identified in subparagraphs 1.-4., but may not 18 make more than one such request for each tax in any 12-month 19 period. The department shall provide such information within 45 20 days after a request by an eligible nonprofit scholarship 21 funding organization. The information may be used by the 22 eligible nonprofit scholarship-funding organization only for 23 purposes of notifying the taxpayer of the opportunity to make an 24 eligible contribution to the Florida Tax Credit Scholarship 25 Program under s. 1002.395. This paragraph only applies to 26 information relating to taxes under: 27 1. Sections 211.02 and 211.025. 28 2. Chapter 212 from a direct pay permitholder as a result 29 of the direct-pay permit held pursuant to s. 212.183. 30 3. Chapter 220, unless disclosure of the names and 31 addresses would violate the terms of any information-sharing 32 agreement between the department and an agency of the Federal 33 Government. 34 4.
