       The Committee on Commerce and Tourism (Ring) recommended the
       following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment to Amendment (422372) (with title
    2  amendment)
    3  
    4         Delete line 23
    5  and insert:
    6  harm, the plaintiff may not recover any damages. The provisions
    7  of this paragraph shall not apply to any "first responder,"
    8  including a law enforcement officer as defined in s. 943.10, a
    9  firefighter as defined in s. 633.30, or an emergency medical
   10  technician or paramedic as defined in s. 401.23, regardless of
   11  whether or not such first responder is full-tim, part-time, or a
   12  volunteer.

   15         And the title is amended as follows:
   16         Delete line 34
   17  and insert:
   18         his or her own harm; providing for inapplicability to
   19         first responders; providing an effective date.
