       Senator Simmons moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment 
    2  
    3         Delete lines 42 - 45
    4  and insert:
    5  studies, and science in prekindergarten through grade 3,
    6  excluding any extracurricular courses pursuant to subsection
    7  (15);
    8         (b) Courses in grades 4 through 8 in subjects that are
    9  measured by state assessment at any grade level and courses
   10  required for middle school promotion, excluding any
   11  extracurricular courses pursuant to subsection (15);
