       Senator Simmons moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Delete lines 674 - 675
    4  and insert:
    5         (i) The commission may undertake appropriate measures to
    6  inform low-income consumers of the availability of the Lifeline
    7  and Link-Up programs.
    8         (j) The commission shall adopt rules to administer this
    9  section.

   12         And the title is amended as follows:
   13         Delete line 47
   14  and insert:
   15         Assistance Plan to qualified residential subscribers;
   16         providing that the Public Service Commission may
   17         undertake appropriate measures to inform low-income
   18         consumers of the availability of the Lifeline and
   19         Link-Up programs;
