       The Committee on Rules (Margolis) recommended the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment 
    2  
    3         Delete lines 24 - 25
    4  and insert:
    5         (2) An abortion that is necessary to save the life of the
    6  mother or in the case where a woman suffers from a physical
    7  disorder, physical injury, or physical illness, including a
    8  life-endangering, physical condition caused by or arising from
    9  the pregnancy itself, which would, as certified by a physician,
   10  place the woman in danger of death unless an abortion is
   11  performed; or
