    2         An act relating to emergency vehicles; amending s.
    3         318.18, F.S.; increasing the fine for the failure to
    4         comply with s. 316.126(1)(b), relating to yielding to
    5         emergency vehicles; providing an effective date.

    7  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:
    8  
    9         Section 1. Paragraph (d) of subsection (2) of section
   10  318.18, Florida Statutes, is amended to read:
   11         318.18 Amount of penalties.—The penalties required for a
   12  noncriminal disposition pursuant to s. 318.14 or a criminal
   13  offense listed in s. 318.17 are as follows:
   14         (2) Thirty dollars for all nonmoving traffic violations
   15  and:
   16         (d) Notwithstanding any other provisions of law to the
   17  contrary, the total fine for all violations of s. 316.126(1)(b)
   18  is $200, unless otherwise specified.
   19         Section 2. This act shall take effect July 1, 2011.
