       The Committee on Regulated Industries (Wise) recommended the
       following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Delete line 589
    4  and insert:
    5         Section 12. This act shall take effect July 1 of the year
    6  after approval by a referendum vote held in the county in which
    7  the pari-mutuel facility is located.

   10         And the title is amended as follows:
   11         Delete line 32
   12  and insert:
   13         license; providing a contingent effective date.
