Floor: WD/2R . 04/29/2011 01:52 PM . ————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————— ————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————— Senator Altman moved the following: 1 Senate Amendment 2 3 Delete lines 358 - 367 4 and insert: 5 (3)(a) If a permitholder elects to broadcast its signal to 6 any permitholder in this state, any permitholder that is 7 eligible to conduct intertrack wagering under the provisions of 8 ss. 550.615-550.6345 is entitled to receive the broadcast and 9 conduct intertrack wagering under this section; provided, 10 however, that the host track may require a guest track within 25 11 miles of another permitholder to receive in any week at least 60 12 percent of the live races that the host track is making 13 available on the days that the guest track is otherwise 14 operating live races or games. 15 (b) A greyhound permitholder that conducts fewer than 100 16 live regular wagering performances during the preceding year 17 may: 18 1. As to each intertrack wager placed on thoroughbred house 19 races accepted by such greyhound permitholder, retain up to 3.5 20 percent of the net proceeds of such wager and shall remit all 21 remaining net proceeds to the host thoroughbred race track which 22 shall be utilized by the host thoroughbred race track to 23 supplement purses on races conducted at the host thoroughbred 24 race track; and 25 2. As to each wager accepted on a simulcast or simulcast 26 rebroadcast of thoroughbred horse races accepted by such 27 greyhound permitholder, retain up to 15 percent of the net 28 proceeds of such wager and shall remit all remaining net 29 proceeds to the host thoroughbred race track which money shall 30 be utilized by the host thoroughbred race track to supplement 31 purses on all races conducted at the host thoroughbred race 32 track. 33 (c) A host track may require a guest track not operating 34 live
