       Senator Wise moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Delete line 585
    4  and insert:
    5         Section 13. This act shall take effect July 1, 2013, only
    6  if approved by 60 percent of the electorate voting in a
    7  referendum held in conjunction with the 2012 general election in
    8  the county in which a pari-mutuel facility is located, except
    9  that this section shall take effect upon this act becoming a
   10  law.

   13         And the title is amended as follows:
   14         Delete lines 35 - 36
   15  and insert:
   16         to maintain or renew a cardroom license; requiring a
   17         referendum; providing an effective date.
