       Senator Siplin moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment 
    2  
    3         Delete lines 934 - 939
    4  and insert:
    5  which the student resides;
    6         b. The course is offered in the school in which the student
    7  is enrolled. However, a student may enroll in an online course
    8  offered by another school district if the school in which the
    9  student is enrolled offers the course but the student is unable
   10  to schedule the course in his or her school;
   11         c. The student has previously taken the class and received
   12  a passing grade; or
   13         d. The student is not eligible to enroll. Eligibility shall
   14  be determined by student records. The department shall develop a
   15  statewide database to enable the sharing of student records
   16  among school districts in order to determine student
   17  eligibility.
