       The Committee on Health Regulation (Latvala) recommended the
       following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Between lines 1718 and 1719
    4  insert:
    5         Section 48. Paragraph (c) of subsection (1) of section
    6  408.037, Florida Statutes, is amended to read:
    7         408.037 Application content.—
    8         (1) Except as provided in subsection (2) for a general
    9  hospital, an application for a certificate of need must contain:
   10         (c) An audited financial statement of the applicant or of
   11  the applicant’s parent corporation if audited financial
   12  statements of the applicant do not exist. In an application
   13  submitted by an existing health care facility, health
   14  maintenance organization, or hospice, financial condition
   15  documentation must include, but need not be limited to, a
   16  balance sheet and a profit-and-loss statement of the 2 previous
   17  fiscal years’ operation.
