       The Committee on Budget (Gaetz) recommended the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)

    3         Between lines 3593 and 3594
    4  insert:
    5         Section 90. Subsection (9) is added to section 465.014,
    6  Florida Statutes, to read:
    7         465.014 Pharmacy technician.—
    8         (9) This section does not apply to a practitioner
    9  authorized to dispense drugs under s. 465.0276 or a medical
   10  assistant or licensed health care professional under the direct
   11  supervision of such practitioner if the practitioner is treating
   12  a patient who provides proof of insurance through a public-payer
   13  or private-payer source. The exemption provided by this
   14  subsection applies only to medical personnel under the direct
   15  supervision of the dispensing practitioner while dispensing in
   16  the practitioner’s office.
