       The Committee on Budget (Flores) recommended the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Between lines 3201 and 3202
    4  insert:
    5         Section 74. Subsection (2) of section 429.075, Florida
    6  Statutes, is amended to read:
    7         429.075 Limited mental health license.—An assisted living
    8  facility that serves three or more mental health residents must
    9  obtain a limited mental health license.
   10         (2) Facilities licensed to provide services to mental
   11  health residents shall provide appropriate supervision and
   12  staffing to provide for the health, safety, and welfare of such
   13  residents. In a municipality having a population of more than
   14  300,000 residents, an assisted living facility or a community
   15  residential home located within an area zoned as a residential
   16  area must maintain 24-hour security services if the assisted
   17  living facility or a community residential home has:
   18         (a) Residents who are identified as being part of a
   19  priority population; and
   20         (b) Adult residents and adolescent residents who have
   21  severe and persistent mental illnesses or substance abuse
   22  disorders as described in s. 394.674.
