       The Committee on Health Regulation (Fasano) recommended the
       following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment 
    2  
    3         Delete lines 4062 - 4066
    4  and insert:
    5         (1) Qualified plans providing managed care medical
    6  assistance may also participate in the managed long-term care
    7  component of the Medicaid managed care program. Specialty plans
    8  established by community care for the elderly lead agencies
    9  solely to provide managed long-term care services and not
   10  managed care medical assistance may also participate in the
   11  managed long-term care component of the Medicaid managed care
   12  program. Unless otherwise specified, the provisions of ss.
   13  409.961-409.970 apply to the managed long-term care component of
   14  the managed care program.
