       The Committee on Health Regulation (Fasano) recommended the
       following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment 
    2  
    3         Between lines 3754 and 3755
    4  insert:
    5         3. The agency shall continue to calculate Medicaid nursing
    6  home per diem rates in accordance with the Title XIX Long-Term
    7  Care Reimbursement Plan. These rates shall be the basis for
    8  payment-related contract negotiations between a qualified plan
    9  and a nursing home.
